Assassin’s Creed II Interview

One of the highlights of the show has definitely been Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed II, and the boys caught up with Patrick Plourde, Lead Designer on the game. In our latest video interview, he gives us the lowdown on what to expect in the sequel, tells us a bit about the new main character, Ezio – and we get another look at some of the stunning gameplay.

Of all the press conferences and media briefings I’ve seen this week, I don’t think I’ve heard quite the crowd reaction that Ubisoft managed to create with that single moment in Assassin’s Creed II, where Ezio dispatches two guards at once with a double-stab. An entire audience (many of them cynical, jaded games journalists) gasping in unison was something pretty impressive. Glad to see it looks like the rest of the game will match up!
